About the role#
The Private Debt & Equity group at RGA originates, underwrites, and invests in direct debt and equity co-investments. This internship provides exposure to the analysis, systems, and practices used within the investments department of an insurance company. You will support deal memo preparation, monitor current investments, and analyze the performance of the private debt and equity portfolio.
What you'll do#
- Assist the team with deal preparation and analysis.
- Participate in portfolio analysis and tasks related to PD&E systems.
- Help with pipeline management and maintenance.
- Work on portfolio reporting projects.
- Improve your knowledge of private debt and equity underwriting.
- Support cross-functional projects as time permits.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MBA program at a top tier institution or as a full-time undergraduate student at the junior or senior level.
- Degree pursuit in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration at an accredited university.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and creative mindset.
- Preferred experience in private equity, lending, investment banking, or corporate credit.
