About the role#
The RGA Summer Internship Program offers students the chance to gain industry knowledge and build a professional network. As an Actuarial Intern, you will work on projects that vary based on your specific department. You will contribute ideas, expand your technical skills, and work alongside full-time associates.
What you'll do#
- Assist in implementing and maintaining actuarial models.
- Manipulate, summarize, and analyze large datasets.
- Develop, enhance, and automate internal processes.
- Coordinate and communicate with other departments across the company.
What you'll need#
- Progress toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Finance, Actuarial Sciences, Statistics, or a related field.
- Intermediate technical and computer skills.
- Advanced oral and written communication abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- At least one passed Actuarial Exam is preferred.
