About the role#
This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to work with the Private Client Group at RBC Wealth Management. You will learn by working alongside experienced financial services professionals. The role involves supporting Financial Advisors with daily operations, research, and client communication.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative and operational support to Financial Advisors and clients.
- Respond to routine client inquiries in a professional manner.
- Share requested information with clients, such as account balances or stock quotes.
- Process account forms and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare client correspondence.
- Assist with department mailing and filing projects.
- Handle other general administrative tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program for Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Previous experience in customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and take initiative.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Genuine interest in the financial services industry.
