About the role#
This paid 10-week summer internship offers students the chance to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry. You will work alongside professionals across multiple business lines, contributing to real projects and strategic initiatives. The program focuses on professional development, mentorship, and exposure to senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Support teams that provide financial solutions to small businesses and commercial clients.
- Gain insight into relationship management, business development, and credit and lending strategies.
- Research and work on operational activities, with the opportunity to present your findings to Senior Leaders.
- Build your professional network through mentorship, panel discussions, and career-focused conversations.
- Participate in volunteer initiatives, employee resource groups, and social events.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Completed at least one full year of college by May 2027.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Wilmington, Delaware.
- Term: Summer 2027 (early June to mid-August).
- Work Modality: Full-time, 40 hours per week, on-site up to 5 days per week.
- Requirements: Must be available for in-person and virtual interviews and an in-person orientation with Human Resources.
