About the role#
The Finance Leadership Development Internship offers a comprehensive look at corporate finance within a global organization. You will join our Finance team to gain hands-on experience across various functions, including Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Strategy, Treasury, and Investor Relations. This role provides exposure to senior leadership and executive management while you contribute to cross-functional projects. You will develop a deep understanding of our business operations and build a professional network across the company.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate in cross-functional project teams to design and implement solutions to business challenges.
- Gain practical experience with key financial and business systems used to manage a complex global organization.
- Build a foundation of technical finance and accounting skills.
- Develop a broad understanding of Gartner business units and operations.
- Engage with senior finance leaders and executive management.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
- Strong financial modeling, data analytics, and technical skills.
- Ability to solve complex problems in ambiguous environments.
- Skill in synthesizing qualitative and quantitative inputs for business decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to influence and collaborate across all levels.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- High standards, attention to detail, and a commitment to integrity.
- Ability to adapt to change and a willingness to embrace feedback.
- Power BI and SQL experience are considered a plus.
- U.S. Work Authorization is required.
