About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship program running from June 2027 to August 2027. Based in New York, you will join the Global Transaction Banking team to support US corporate and institutional clients. The team focuses on treasury requirements including receivables, payables, liquidity management, and reporting for sectors such as energy, infrastructure, and financial institutions.
What you'll do#
- Provide cash management solutions to Corporate Banking clients to meet their treasury needs.
- Assist in preparing information memoranda and client pitch books.
- Participate in the credit approval process, documentation, and the closing of loan transactions.
- Run financial models focused on credit analysis and risk rating evaluation.
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of client cash flows, deposit behaviors, and operational needs.
- Develop and use deposit pricing tools to assess strategies and client profitability.
- Work with senior bankers and cross-functional teams to manage client portfolios.
- Proactively assess client needs to propose tailored solutions and support business development.
- Deliver sound, timely, and clear recommendations for credit facilities.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- An expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- The ability to communicate detailed information in an impactful way.
