    About the role#

    As a Product Analyst Co-op for the Winter 2027 term, you will join the Product Management team supporting Investor’s Edge. You will play a key role in our strategic decision-making by gathering intelligence on competitors and market trends. This position is designed for students with a strong interest in investments who want to gain hands-on experience in product management and research.

    What you'll do#

    • Conduct competitive research on market trends, emerging products, and competitors.
    • Analyze industry developments to identify potential opportunities and risks.
    • Collaborate with Product Managers to support product strategy, development, and positioning.
    • Prepare reports and presentations to share your research findings with management.
    • Provide market insights to support sales enablement and help the team understand the competitive environment.
    • Use research tools and platforms, including CIBC AI (CAI), to gather and synthesize data.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in post-secondary education with a plan to return to full-time studies.
    • Academic background in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
    • A strong interest in investments.
    • Experience using research tools and platforms.
    • Comfort working with CIBC AI (CAI).
    • Clear communication skills and a collaborative, proactive approach to your work.

    Location & details#

    • Location: 81 Bay St, Toronto, Ontario.
    • Term: 4 months (January 2027 to April 2027).
    • Modality: Hybrid, with 2 days per week expected on-site.
    • Employment type: Full-time, paid position.
    • Note: You must be legally eligible to work in Canada and reside within the country.
