About the role#
As an AML Compliance Analyst Intern within the Financial Crimes function, you will help identify and manage Anti-Money Laundering risks. You will work alongside leaders who provide coaching and opportunities for professional development. This four-month placement runs from January 2027 to April 2027.
What you'll do#
- Maintain and revise policies and procedures for the compliance program.
- Work with AML Advisory to analyze Financial Crimes risks.
- Collaborate with business partners and internal teams to ensure a holistic approach to risk management.
- Analyze reports and provide summaries of findings.
- Contribute to training and awareness initiatives.
- Stay current on industry standards and emerging risks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program, such as Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Criminal Justice.
- Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to act as a proactive collaborator.
- Understanding of risk management fundamentals.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, four-month internship.
- The role is based in Toronto, Ontario, with on-site and hybrid work options available.
- You must be returning to school after the work term or require this placement as a mandatory component to graduate in April 2027.
