About the role#
This internship supports the Legal and Compliance Department with business-as-usual tasks. You will focus on regulatory change management and oversight of Front Line Units (FLU), specifically regarding compliance testing and reporting.
What you'll do#
- Support regulatory change management tasks.
- Conduct control testing for compliance risk areas within the FLUs.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly Compliance Metrics Heat Maps.
- Create reporting materials for monthly FLU BSA Officer meetings and quarterly AMLCC Sub-Committee meetings.
- Draft minutes for bi-weekly and monthly FLU BSA Officer meetings.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and creating charts.
- Experience with PowerPoint and Word.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a willingness to learn quickly.
- Previous experience in the financial industry or project management is helpful.
- Ability to work across multiple business lines and functions.
