    About the role#

    Bank of China USA is looking for an Operational Risk Management Department Governance Intern to join the team in New York. This role supports the department through regular reporting, business-as-usual activities, and ad-hoc requirements. This is a full-time, paid internship.

    What you'll do#

    • Analyze and consolidate operational risk data from various teams.
    • Generate Branch-wide operational risk management reports for the Head Office.
    • Facilitate monthly Operational Risk Committee meetings.
    • Review and verify meeting materials and supporting documentation.
    • Assist with regulatory and audit meetings and affairs.

    What you'll need#

    • Pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Accounting.
    • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint.
    • Knowledge of operational or enterprise risk management concepts, frameworks, and governance practices.
    • Understanding of financial business policies, products, processes, systems, and roles.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Chinese language proficiency is an advantage.

    • Pay: $18.00 per hour.
