About the role#
The Operational Risk Management Department Governance Intern supports the team with regular reporting, new regulatory requirements, and business-as-usual activities. This role involves assisting with operational risk data consolidation and facilitating key governance meetings.
What you'll do#
- Analyze and consolidate operational risk data from various teams.
- Generate branch-wide operational risk management reports for the Head Office.
- Facilitate monthly Operational Risk Committee (ORC) meetings, including reviewing meeting materials and supporting documentation.
- Support the facilitation of regulatory and audit meetings and affairs.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Accounting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Chinese language proficiency is an advantage).
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of operational or enterprise risk management concepts, frameworks, methods, and governance practices.
- Understanding of financial business policies, products, processes, systems, and roles.
