About the role#
The Operational Risk Management Department Governance Intern will support the team in fulfilling regular reporting requirements, managing regulatory obligations, and performing business-as-usual or ad-hoc activities. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Analyze and consolidate operational risk data from various teams to generate Branch-wide operational risk management reports for the Head Office.
- Facilitate monthly Operational Risk Committee (ORC) meetings, including reviewing meeting materials and supporting documentation.
- Support the coordination of regulatory and audit meetings and related affairs.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Accounting.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of operational or enterprise risk management concepts, frameworks, methods, and governance practices.
- Understanding of financial business policies, products, processes, systems, and roles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Chinese language proficiency is an advantage.
