    About the role#

    As a Financial Advisor intern at RBC, you will build and manage relationships with high-value personal and small business clients. You will provide professional advice on investments, credit, and everyday banking while helping clients navigate their financial goals and life events.

    What you'll do#

    • Attract, nurture, and grow client relationships to support acquisition and retention.
    • Provide proactive advice on credit and investments to meet client needs.
    • Collaborate with internal partners in financial planning, mortgages, and business banking.
    • Educate clients on digital tools to help them self-serve and interact through their preferred channels.
    • Implement relationship-building strategies to expand your local network.

    What you'll need#

    • Valid Mutual Funds accreditation, such as Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course.
    • Completed Designated Financial Services Advisor (DFSA) designation.
    • 2-3 years of sales experience within the financial services industry.
    • Proven ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
    • Digital literacy across various devices including laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
    • Pursuing or holding a background in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
