About the role#
The Material Management Lead role focuses on establishing, monitoring, and controlling strategies and policies for materials management by commodity or program. You will work within one of two workstreams: Inventory Planning and Governance, or Inventory Performance and Control. The team aims to improve inventory flow, accuracy, and key performance indicators. You will work alongside supply chain professionals to support inventory strategies and manage the transfer of best practices.
What you'll do#
- Support the development, monitoring, and execution of inventory action plans in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Analyze, optimize, and control value stream parts planning parameters.
- Develop tools to support improvement projects within the team and across other entities.
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance inventory flow.
- Organize and manage the transfer of knowledge regarding material flow best practices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Canadian university throughout the internship.
- Pursuit of a degree in Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Excel Macros.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
- Ability to work on-site five days per week.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI and proficiency in French are considered assets.

- Location: 1000 Blvd Marie-Victorin, Longueuil, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5th to April 23rd, 2027).
- Modality: On-site, five days per week.
- Employment type: Full-time internship.
- This position requires a criminal background check and authorization for the management of controlled goods.
