About the role#
This internship provides technical support to the Reliability and Maintenance department at our Longueuil facility. You will work under the supervision of a technical manager to assist in the integration of new production equipment. The primary goal of this role is to support the team in meeting the manufacturing center's 2027 performance targets.
What you'll do#
- Develop maintenance plans for new production equipment and implement them according to company standards.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of equipment subsystems.
- Analyze technical drawings and fluid system diagrams.
- Communicate with equipment manufacturers to obtain documentation, critical spare parts lists, and quotations.
- Execute the initial deployment of maintenance plans alongside mechanics and electrotechnicians.
- Support the installation of new equipment.
- Collaborate with other internal teams, including the Capital Group and Industrial Engineering.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university for the full duration of the internship.
- Currently pursuing studies in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
- Advanced proficiency in French, both spoken and written.
- Functional knowledge of English to read technical instructions, plans, and drawings.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel, Outlook, and OneNote.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and obtain necessary clearances for handling controlled goods.
Location & details#
- Location: 1000 Boul. Marie-Victorin, Longueuil, Quebec.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5th to April 23rd, 2027).
- Modality: On-site, 5 days per week.
