About the role#
This Systems Engineering Internship is based in Middletown, Connecticut, for the Summer 2027 term. You will work within the Development Operations organization, focusing on instrumentation tasks for commercial and military gas turbine jet engines. This is a full-time, on-site position. Please note that U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
What you'll do#
- Support validation programs for engine development.
- Perform instrumentation installation, routing, dressing, and termination.
- Ensure all instrumentation is integrated accurately and reliably into engine test environments.
- Complete assignments related to commercial or military engine programs based on business needs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for mechanical, aerospace, electrical, or computer engineering, or a related STEM major.
- Active student status through the end of the internship session.
- Previous engineering internship experience within the aerospace industry is preferred.
- Experience with technical group projects, testing, or manufacturing.
