About the role#
Raytheon Technologies is hiring a Systems Engineer for a co-op position during the Winter and Summer 2027 terms. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The company provides immigration sponsorship for this position if needed.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with systems, software, and hardware engineers to create avionics display solutions.
- Develop and execute system-level operational tests for Avionics Display Systems.
- Create software tools to support display system integration, verification, and validation.
- Gain experience in the system development lifecycle, including requirements capture, system design, and modeling.
- Apply industry standards such as ARINC 661, ARINC 664, and ARP-4754.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Active enrollment status through the completion of the internship or co-op session.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Experience with at least one programming or scripting language.
