About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain experience in a unionized manufacturing environment. You will work closely with a supervisor to support daily operations and contribute to department-wide projects. This role is based in Mirabel and requires an on-site presence five days per week from January 5 to April 23, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Manage employees in a unionized setting by assigning tasks and applying collective agreement rules.
- Act as a resource person to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Serve as an agent of prevention to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
- Develop and deploy strategies to reduce non-quality.
- Lead projects focused on continuous improvement, including areas such as department layout, productivity, and environmental initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university for the duration of the internship.
- Current studies in Engineering, Human Resources, or Operations and Production Management.
- Advanced proficiency in French, both spoken and written.
- Mastery of office software, specifically Excel, Outlook, and OneNote.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Ability to work on-site in Mirabel.
- Assets include strong communication skills, leadership, autonomy, and familiarity with lean manufacturing or SAP software.

- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 23).
- Modality: Full-time, on-site.
- Note: Employment is conditional upon the successful completion of a criminal background check and obtaining required clearances for handling controlled goods.
