About the role#
The Material Management Lead role focuses on establishing, monitoring, and controlling material management strategies by program or commodity. You will work within one of two workstreams: Inventory Planning and Governance or Inventory Performance and Control. This role requires the ability to work independently while collaborating with stakeholders to improve inventory flow, accuracy, and key performance indicators.
What you'll do#
- Support the development, monitoring, and execution of inventory action plans.
- Analyze, optimize, and control planning parameters for value stream parts.
- Develop tools to support improvement projects across the team and with other entities.
- Manage the transfer of knowledge regarding material flow best practices to supply chain professionals.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university throughout the internship.
- Current pursuit of a degree in Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, specifically with Excel Macros.
- Fluent English skills (spoken and written) to handle technical documentation and international communication.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Ability to work on-site 5 days per week.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI and French language skills are considered assets.

- Location: 1000 Boul Marie-Victorin, Longueuil, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 23, 2027).
- Modality: On-site, 5 days per week.
- Employment: Full-time paid internship.
