About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Burnsville, Minnesota. You will work on-site, focusing on one or two specific projects throughout the summer. You will be paired with a mentor to guide your progress and receive feedback. The role is designed to integrate you into the team, allowing you to participate in meetings, discussions, and project reviews alongside our engineers.
What you'll do#
- Develop airborne embedded software.
- Create operational concepts and use cases.
- Complete projects that produce functional outputs for our engineering teams.
- Collaborate with team members to gain experience in the daily life of a software engineer.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Actively enrolled in your degree program through the end of the internship.
- Completed at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Experience gained through coursework, research, projects, or previous work.
- U.S. citizenship is required to access necessary systems.
- Prior experience with RTX is preferred.
