About the role#
Join the IT team at GALLO to help build the systems and integrations that support a large beverage manufacturer. As an IT Software Developer Intern, you will contribute to work across web, mobile, cloud, database, and production service environments. This 10-week summer internship offers hands-on experience in a business supported by technology. You will work on projects alongside Application Development, Business Analysis, and Data Services teams. You may also collaborate with partners across Marketing, Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, Winemaking, and Research & Development.
What you'll do#
- Develop full-stack code.
- Debug and test applications.
- Work with databases and cloud services.
- Build and deploy services and integrations.
- Create technical documentation, system diagrams, and workflows.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled at a college or university working towards a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Informatics.
- Previous software development experience through coursework, personal projects, internships, or open-source contributions.
- Proficiency with cloud development, databases, and full-stack software development.
- Experience with AI agent integrations or agentic engineering.
- Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills.
- Must be 18 years or older.

- This role is based in Modesto, California.
- The position is full-time and follows a hybrid work modality.
- This is a paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The company does not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
