About the role#
The Service Investigation team offers a unique opportunity to gain experience with the full range of Pratt & Whitney Canada products. You will work alongside highly skilled investigators to examine gas turbine engines involved in unplanned removals, incidents, or accidents. This is a full-time, paid internship for the winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Plan and conduct complex technical investigations of parts and engines.
- Determine the root cause for part and design failures.
- Coordinate with in-house groups to ensure rapid solutions for improved field reliability, durability, and product quality.
- Assist senior investigators with daily technical tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Canadian university pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Working knowledge of English to read technical plans, drawings, and specialized instructions, and to communicate with international colleagues and suppliers.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and obtain necessary clearances for handling controlled goods.

- Location: Saint Hubert, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: January 5 to April 23, 2027.
- Modality: This position is exclusively on-site, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours.
