About the role#
As a Cyber ServiceNow Developer Intern, you will join our team to build and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform. You will work alongside senior developers and architects to tailor the platform to meet specific client needs. This role focuses on gaining hands-on experience with platform fundamentals while contributing to real client projects.
What you'll do#
- Configure and customize ServiceNow modules, including tables, forms, scripts, business rules, and reports.
- Create and update catalog items, data imports, UI actions, ACLs, and notifications.
- Assist in the design and modification of Service Portal pages and Workspaces.
- Perform unit testing, document technical details, and support defect remediation.
- Provide Tier 1-2 technical support for applications and resolve minor bugs.
- Deploy update sets and manage releases within non-production environments.
- Configure basic demo environments and complete assigned training or certifications.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a B.A. or B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with the ServiceNow platform and its core capabilities.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with attention to detail.
- Understanding of agile methodologies, including experience with stories, epics, and sprints.
- Prior experience in an environment focused on client delivery.
- Ability to manage time effectively to meet project schedules.
- Optional: ITIL Foundation v4 or ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certifications.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site in Chicago, Illinois, or Indianapolis, Indiana.
