About the role#
As an HR intern, you will contribute to our team by applying your knowledge across several functional areas. You will work alongside managers, supervisors, and employees to support daily operations. This role is designed for a professional who can work with a degree of independence and possesses a solid understanding of human resources functions.
What you'll do#
- Support managers, supervisors, and hourly employees in applying the collective agreement.
- Manage procedures related to grievances, investigations, and disciplinary measures.
- Ensure the implementation of various HR processes.
- Participate in the creation, establishment, and improvement of HR management tools.
- Collaborate with diverse groups, including HR colleagues and staff members.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university throughout the duration of the internship.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resources.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Excellent communication skills in French, both spoken and written.
- Working knowledge of English to handle technical terms and communicate with international colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work under pressure.
Location & details#
- Location: Longueuil, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 23, 2027).
- Modality: This is a full-time, on-site position requiring presence at our facility from Monday to Friday.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
- Note: Employment is conditional upon the successful completion of a criminal background check and obtaining required clearances for handling controlled goods.
