About the role#
This internship within the Tax Department offers the opportunity to support the financial functions of the business. You will take responsibility for project components and apply your knowledge across several functional areas. This role is a full-time position for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Update transfer pricing documentation and variance reports for month-end actuals and MML.
- Provide support for corporate tax returns, VAT and fuel tax claims, withholding taxes, and municipal taxes.
- Maintain the month-end checklist and journal entry log.
- Assist with budget validation.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and SOX testing.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university throughout the internship.
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Tax.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Excellent communication skills in French, both spoken and written.
- Working knowledge of English to handle technical documentation and international communications.
- Ability to work on-site and manage competing priorities.
Location & details#
- Location: Longueuil, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: January 5 to April 23, 2027.
- Modality: This is an on-site position requiring presence at the Longueuil facility from Monday to Friday.
- Requirements: Employment is conditional upon the successful completion of a criminal background check and obtaining necessary clearances for handling controlled goods.
