About the role#
As a Quality Specialist intern at the Engine Center, you will investigate product and process quality to resolve non-conformities related to assembly and supplier defects. You will work daily with production, quality, and supplier teams to maintain high standards for our engine components.
What you'll do#
- Support the Engine Center Quality team with supplier and assembly line escapes alongside multidisciplinary groups.
- Participate in regular supplier issue reviews and draft management summaries to drive resolutions.
- Perform technical analysis and create DIVE presentations to address assembly line issues.
- Analyze non-quality data to produce monthly reports on investigations, non-conformance management, and center improvements.
- Join tactical quality clinics with assemblers and support groups to improve processes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university throughout the internship.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Working knowledge of both English and French to handle technical documentation and communicate with international colleagues.
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools.
- Technical knowledge of aeronautical parts and engine manufacturing.
- Experience with problem-solving processes like DIVE.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

- Location: Mirabel, Quebec.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 23, 2027).
- Modality: Full-time, on-site presence required.
- Requirements: Successful completion of a criminal background check and controlled goods clearance is required for this role.
