About the role#
As an Operations Logistics intern, you will report to the Manager of Logistics Operations. You will contribute to projects aimed at improving logistics efficiency and provide support to storage and material-handling operations. This position offers the chance to work in a professional environment while gaining hands-on experience in aerospace logistics.
What you'll do#
- Manage projects independently that impact logistics operations and business process optimization, such as improving material transfers between sites.
- Develop a document approval tracking tool.
- Communicate key processes for external storage facilities, including service levels and points of contact.
- Assist with the implementation of new performance indicators.
- Provide daily support for ongoing logistics operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Canadian university in Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Intelligence, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in data analysis and project work.
- Strong analytical skills and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work under pressure and adjust priorities based on needs.
- Working knowledge of English to handle technical documentation and international communication, alongside a French-speaking work environment.
- Knowledge of SAP, ERP, Power BI, or Access is considered an asset.
Location & details#
- Location: Longueuil, Quebec, Canada.
- Dates: January 5 to April 23, 2027.
- Modality: This is a full-time, on-site position requiring presence at the Longueuil facility from Monday to Friday.
- Requirements: The successful candidate must pass a criminal background check and obtain necessary authorizations for handling controlled goods.
