About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Tucson, Arizona. You will work on-site supporting test equipment development within the aviation and aerospace component manufacturing sector.
What you'll do#
- Design structures, assemblies, and various mechanisms.
- Perform detailed design and drafting tasks following ASME Y14.5 standards.
- Assist with the procurement and testing of development hardware.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Collaborate across different functions to help mature designs.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or graduate degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- You must be entering at least your Sophomore year by the start of Summer 2027.
- U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
- Experience with Creo modeling and drafting.
- Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5.
- Familiarity with Windchill and configuration management.
