About the role#
This is a 12 week, full-time summer internship program based in Englewood, Colorado. You will join our engineering team to support the development and operation of lunar missions. The program runs from May to August 2027 and provides hands-on experience with projects that are vital to our mission objectives.
What you'll do#
- Support active projects, programs, and day-to-day team activities.
- Apply classroom knowledge to real-world technical challenges.
- Work alongside engineers, technical specialists, and business professionals.
- Participate in team meetings, project reviews, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Conduct research, analysis, documentation, and testing.
- Learn about the commercial space industry and the operation of lunar landers.
- Present your work and accomplishments at the conclusion of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Completed a minimum of two years of college-level coursework by May 2027.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and continuing your education after the internship.
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Familiarity with Agile engineering practices and processes.
- Previous engineering internship experience, preferably in aerospace.
- Ability to work on-site in Englewood, Colorado.
- U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent resident status, or protected individual status as required by U.S. export regulations.

- Compensation: Paid hourly at $28/hr with a $300/week housing stipend.
