About the role#
This 12-week internship program offers hands-on experience with projects vital to our lunar missions. You will work alongside engineers, technical specialists, and business professionals to support our goals in the commercial space industry. The program runs from May to August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support active projects, programs, and day-to-day team activities.
- Apply classroom knowledge to real-world technical or business challenges.
- Participate in team meetings, project reviews, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Conduct research, analysis, documentation, and testing relevant to your area.
- Learn about the commercial space industry and the development of lunar missions.
- Present your work and accomplishments at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Completed at least two years of college-level coursework by the start of the internship.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and continuing your education after the internship.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Strong skills in communication, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Familiarity with Agile software engineering practices.
- Previous engineering internship experience is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Englewood, Colorado.
- Modality: Full-time, on-site for 12 weeks.
- Compensation: $28/hr plus a $300/week housing stipend.
- Eligibility: You must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual to comply with U.S. export regulations.
