About the role#
As a Digital Content Creation Intern, you will work with the Training department to modernize technical training materials. You will help transform existing documentation into digital learning experiences, starting with the Crawler curriculum and supporting the development of CCS 2.0. This role involves working alongside technical instructors to ensure training content is accurate, practical, and accessible across our facilities.
What you'll do#
- Review and outline existing technical content, breaking it into concise sections.
- Organize and label digital training materials for easy access.
- Create and improve training content using digital and AI-assisted tools.
- Upload and maintain materials within the learning management system (LMS).
- Use translation tools to make content accessible in multiple languages.
- Collaborate with engineers and instructors to build interactive digital simulations.
- Explore new formats like video and virtual reality to improve technician training.
- Convert one full week of course content into a digital format every three weeks.
- Support special projects and additional training initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited bachelor's degree program in Instructional Design, Education, Training and Development, Digital Media, Communications, Engineering Technology, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong written communication, editing, and organizational skills.
- Comfort using AI tools, learning management systems, and digital content platforms.
- Ability to translate technical information into clear, engaging learning content.
- Capacity to collaborate with subject-matter experts while working independently.
- Strong time-management skills to meet recurring development deadlines.
- Interest in video production, virtual reality, graphic design, or interactive media is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Greencastle, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: Paid internship.
