About the role#
As a Human Resources Intern, you will support our HR team in a manufacturing environment. You will assist with production recruiting, employee relations, and annual HR programs while gaining exposure to daily HR operations. This role helps our team support approximately 650 employees and manage over 40 direct-hire openings.
What you'll do#
- Assist with full-cycle recruiting for hourly production roles, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
- Communicate with candidates and internal stakeholders to ensure an organized hiring process.
- Support new employee onboarding and help staff transition into the organization.
- Assist the HR Business Partner with employee relations, documentation, and follow-up tasks.
- Help with annual HR processes such as open enrollment and performance management.
- Coordinate employee events, training sessions, schedules, and materials.
- Maintain accurate HR records, reports, and recruiting trackers.
- Contribute to process improvements and complete additional projects based on business needs.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment at an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, or a related field.
- Interest in human resources, recruiting, employee relations, and manufacturing operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with a professional approach.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, use sound judgment, and work both independently and collaboratively.

- Location: Greencastle, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 20 to 40 hours per week, Monday through Thursday.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
