About the role#
As a Mechanical Design Engineering Intern, you will join teams developing advanced aircraft air data products. You will support the mechanical aspects of development programs from initial requirements through design, testing, and final implementation. This role is based in Burnsville, Minnesota, and operates on-site.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with teams to design new aircraft air data products.
- Provide technical support to operations teams for programs currently in production.
- Support existing products within manufacturing.
- Gain hands-on experience with mechanical development phases, including requirements, design, test, and implementation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Active enrollment status through the end of the internship.
- Experience gained through coursework, research, projects, or previous work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with CAD software, with a preference for CREO.
- Familiarity with measurement, instrumentation, and environmental testing.
- Experience working on cross-functional teams.
- U.S. citizenship is required to access program information.
