About the role#
This is a full-time Mechanical Design Engineering Co-op position based in Uniontown, Ohio. The role runs from January through May or June 2027. You will work on-site Monday through Friday. This position requires U.S. citizenship.
What you'll do#
You will support the full lifecycle of aerospace components, from initial conceptual design to certification and product support. You will contribute to the development of several key systems, including:
- Water heaters and freeze protection systems
- High-performance water tanks and heated tubes
- Precision-engineered valves, faucets, and drain masts
- Pneumatic valves and de-icers for ice protection
- Elastomers and heated composites
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Enrollment status maintained through the completion of the co-op session
- Experience with CAD software, simulation tools, or composites
- Background in the design and development of aerospace systems
- Ability to solve problems and a proactive approach to innovation
- Understanding of the product lifecycle phases
