About the role#
This internship program offers students a chance to gain experience in materials management and logistics within the aerospace and defense sector. You will join the Integrated Business Planning organization to support demand and supply planning, inventory management, and capacity planning. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in East Hartford, Connecticut, for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Support the Integrated Business Planning team with demand, supply, and capacity planning.
- Assist professionals in planning material requirements for production processes.
- Contribute to forecasting for new engine assembly and spare parts.
- Help improve planning workflows to ensure on-time engine delivery.
- Work cross-functionally in office settings and engage directly with operations on the shop floor.
- Complete meaningful projects designed to provide real-world impact.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Completion of at least 30 credit hours before the start of the internship.
- Active enrollment status through the end of the internship session.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
- Preferred: Experience with SAP, knowledge of artificial intelligence applications in business, and a minimum 3.0 GPA.
