    About the role#

    As a Supply Chain Intern, you will join a multidisciplinary team responsible for sourcing and procuring parts, managing supplier relationships, and finding opportunities to reduce costs. You will contribute to the delivery of critical hardware that supports space systems and launch products.

    What you'll do#

    • Work closely with your mentor and department employees to apply engineering and industry concepts to real challenges.
    • Manage supplier relationships and identify cost reduction opportunities.
    • Source and procure parts required for production.
    • Attend frequent 1:1 meetings with supervisors to discuss progress and learning.
    • Participate in tech talks and network with other interns and employees through professional and social events.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a bachelor’s, master's, or doctorate program in an engineering discipline, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
    • At least one semester of school remaining after the internship concludes.
    • A minimum GPA of 3.0.
    • At least 3 months of corporate function experience in supply chain.
    • Preferred: GPA of 3.5 or above, 6+ months of supply chain experience, and knowledge of 5S principles.
    • Preferred technical skills include Excel, SQL, PowerBI, Python, Six Sigma, Infor LN, and knowledge of warehouse operations.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Long Beach, California.
    • Term: Summer 2027.
    • Modality: Full-time, on-site for at least 12 consecutive weeks beginning in May or June 2027.
    • Compensation: $25.00 per hour.
    • Note: This role does not offer sponsorship.
