About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to join the supply chain team at our Saint-Hubert facility. You will act as a buyer, managing part procurement from both internal and external suppliers. Your work helps ensure production lines remain active by managing shortages, planning requirements, and coordinating delivery schedules. You will collaborate across departments, including production planning, inspection, sales, and shipping, to resolve inventory and supply issues.
What you'll do#
- Manage supplier relationships and performance for your assigned portfolio.
- Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly outputs according to the master build plan.
- Execute the escalation process for critical path parts to prevent production stoppages.
- Lead projects focused on improving supply chain management processes.
- Manage the provisioning of engine parts from outside vendors for the aftermarket.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Canadian university with a focus on Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English, with the ability to read technical documentation and communicate with international stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and obtain clearances for handling controlled goods.
Location & details#
- Location: Saint-Hubert, Quebec, Canada.
- Modality: This is an on-site position requiring presence at our facility from Monday to Friday.
- Term: Winter 2027, running from January 5th to April 23rd, 2027.
