About the role#
The Engineering Finance team at Pratt & Whitney Canada manages financial reporting, forecasting, and estimations for engineering projects. You will collaborate with engineers to provide financial visibility and guidance, helping them meet project milestones within budget while maintaining internal controls.
What you'll do#
- Develop and enhance automated Power BI reporting tools to improve variance analysis.
- Monitor and report department expenses using Excel, Power BI, and SAP.
- Support month-end activities, including the preparation of journal entries.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasting and reporting.
- Contribute to process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and general support to the Engineering Finance team.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Computer Science.
- Proficiency in Power BI and Excel.
- Strong interest in combining finance with IT systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills in French and English, both written and spoken.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in an organized manner.

- Location: Longueuil, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 23, 2027).
- Modality: On-site, Monday to Friday.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
