About the role#
This internship supports the MRO Engineering team in Saint-Hubert and Longueuil, Quebec. You will join a group of technicians and engineers focused on supporting engine lines and providing technical guidance. This is a full-time, on-site position for the Winter 2027 term, running from January 5 to April 23, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with root cause analysis of engine test rejects and help implement preventive measures.
- Analyze test reject trends to identify recurring issues.
- Review questions from overhaul shops regarding Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) and prepare responses.
- Evaluate Request for Evaluation (RFE) data and recommend updates for maintenance manuals.
- Assess Light Overhaul criteria for various P&W engine families to propose standardized processes.
- Gain experience with technical software tools including Excel (Pivot Table, Power Query, VBA), R, Python, and Power BI.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university throughout the internship.
- Pursuing a degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Computer, or Industrial Engineering.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Excellent communication skills in French or English.
- Ability to read and understand technical instructions, plans, and drawings in English, as the role involves international collaboration.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
