About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to join the Longueuil Manufacturing Centre team. You will support the logistics department by monitoring and prioritizing parts and projects within the manufacturing line. This role involves using software tools to track production progress and collaborating with multiple departments to keep manufacturing operations moving smoothly.
What you'll do#
- Ensure follow-up on work orders within the plant.
- Provide updates to engineering and management regarding the progress of critical parts.
- Track parts from the initial production launch through to priority completion.
- Route parts to the appropriate clients, including aftermarket, experimental, and engine centers.
- Analyze production priorities for scheduling purposes.
- Plan production schedules while evaluating machine capacity.
- Follow up on and prioritize quality notifications.
- Initiate and support continuous improvement projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university throughout the duration of the internship.
- Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Knowledge of the manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Functional knowledge of English to read specialized instructions, plans, and technical drawings, as the work environment is primarily French-speaking.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and obtain necessary authorizations for handling controlled goods.

- Location: Longueuil, Quebec, Canada.
- Modality: On-site, Monday to Friday.
- Term: January 5, 2027, to April 23, 2027.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
