About the role#
This internship focuses on the development of technical publications for advanced hybrid-electric propulsion (HEP) engines. You will join the NSE team to support the design and integration of propulsion technology aimed at improving aircraft efficiency and reducing fuel consumption.
What you'll do#
- Support the definition of engine interfaces with aircraft components.
- Evaluate the installation of the hybrid-electric engine within the nacelle.
- Document and maintain installation and removal procedures for the engine as designs evolve.
- Identify clearance issues and access requirements for assembly and disassembly tasks.
- Support weight management for various packages installed on the aircraft.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university throughout the internship.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Proficiency in both French and English, including the ability to read technical instructions, plans, and drawings in English.
- Pursuing a degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering.
Location & details#
- Location: Longueuil, Quebec (On-site).
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 23, 2027).
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday.
- This is a paid internship.
- The offer is conditional upon a criminal background check and obtaining necessary authorizations for handling controlled goods.
