About the role#
This is a 12-month full-time internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will work within the Global 7500/8000 program, contributing to software and digital transformation initiatives that support smart factory operations and advanced aircraft programs.
What you'll do#
- Design and deploy full-stack web applications and internal tools using React, Next.js, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Engineer backend automation scripts and data integration pipelines using Python and SQL.
- Build custom management tools to streamline communication and workflows across engineering teams.
- Research emerging software architectures and AI applications for manufacturing.
- Create technical documentation, project updates, and governance materials for senior management reviews.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in the 3rd or 4th year of an undergraduate Engineering program, such as Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Programming experience with Python, SQL, React, Next.js, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Git.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and modern digital productivity tools.
- Strong communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English.
- A professional, detail-oriented approach to collaborative team projects.
Location & details#
- Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Compensation: This is a paid position with an hourly rate between CAD $17.95 and CAD $31.00.
- Note: This role is open to students only. Occasional travel outside of Canada may be required for training or work purposes.
