About the role#
The Engineering Finance team manages financial reporting, forecasting, and estimations for engineering projects. We provide financial visibility and guidance to engineers to help meet project milestones and budgets while maintaining internal controls.
What you'll do#
- Report and communicate Engineering department travel expenses using SAP and Excel.
- Perform journal entries in SAP for month-end reclassifications and corporate plane travel expenses.
- Assist with month-end reporting and forecasting by running variance analysis reports.
- Manage team journal entry approvals and ensure completeness for compliance.
- Develop automated standard reporting tools to identify variance drivers.
- Participate in the annual Sarbanes Oxley testing and government obligation processes.
- Monitor, investigate, and resolve problematic invoices while ensuring correct cost center coding.
- Approve and monitor purchase order requisitions for engineering projects.
- Manage the contractor time-keeping system and handle profile creation in SAP.
- Update Program Estimate at Completion (EAC) files and support Sustainable Aviation Government claims reporting.
- Provide general administrative and ad-hoc support to the E&D Finance team.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university throughout the internship.
- Current pursuit of a degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English, spoken and written.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.

- Location: Longueuil, Quebec.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 23, 2027).
- Modality: Full-time, on-site.
