About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience with industrial digitalization and artificial intelligence applications within manufacturing operations. You will work alongside multidisciplinary teams on large-scale systems, including PLM and MES, while learning to manage projects in agile or hybrid environments. You will have the opportunity to propose and prototype your own ideas within an innovation-focused team.
What you'll do#
- Support the follow-up of PLM and MES implementation projects.
- Track progress, risks, and key milestones for ongoing digital transformation programs.
- Explore potential AI use cases in MES and PLM environments.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and dashboards for project management.
- Benchmark emerging tools and technologies.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university and eligibility to work in Canada.
- Current studies in Business Management, AI/Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Interest in manufacturing systems, digital operations, and smart factories.
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, or Power BI.
- A basic understanding of PLM or MES.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English to handle technical documentation and international coordination.
- Experience with CAD, Python, SQL, or AI/ML frameworks is considered an asset.
Location & details#
- Location: Longueuil, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 23, 2027).
- Modality: Full-time, on-site, Monday to Friday.
- Requirements: Candidates must complete a criminal background check and obtain necessary clearances for handling controlled goods.
