About the role#
This is a full-time internship for the Winter 2027 term, running from January 5th to April 23rd, 2027. You will work on-site at our facility in Longueuil, Quebec, from Monday to Friday, 6:30 to 15:00. This role involves managing employees within a unionized environment and requires a functional knowledge of English for technical documentation and international communication, alongside a French-speaking work environment.
What you'll do#
- Support daily operations by assigning tasks and acting as a resource person for the department.
- Apply the rules of the collective agreement while working closely with the supervisor.
- Serve as an agent of prevention to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
- Develop and deploy strategies to reduce non-quality.
- Lead projects related to layout, health and safety, environment, and productivity to support continuous improvement.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university throughout the duration of the internship.
- Current studies in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Human Resources, or Operations and Production Management.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Proficiency in basic office software, specifically Excel, Outlook, and One Note.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and SAP software is considered an asset.
- Strong communication, leadership, and diplomatic skills.

- Location: 1000 Boul Marie-Victorin, Longueuil, Quebec.
- Modality: On-site, 5 days per week.
- Status: Paid, full-time internship.
- Requirements: Candidates must pass a criminal background check and obtain necessary clearances for handling controlled goods.
