    About the role#

    This internship provides hands-on experience in aerospace manufacturing and continuous improvement. You will work with our team to troubleshoot technical issues, support capital equipment projects, and help refine our production processes. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Halifax.

    What you'll do#

    • Collaborate with the continuous improvement team to troubleshoot and implement advanced technology solutions.
    • Participate in quality improvement events and lead specific action items.
    • Support the acquisition of new capital equipment, including business case development and technology selection.
    • Create and update CAD drawings for the layout of new or relocated equipment.
    • Communicate designs to outside vendors and provide guidance on component fabrication.
    • Work with technical teams to evaluate and implement manufacturing strategies.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for mechanical or industrial engineering at a Canadian university.
    • Eligibility to work in Canada.
    • Ability to work on-site for the duration of the internship.
    • Strong project management skills.
    • Experience with CAD software packages.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and work within a team.

    • Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
    • Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 23, 2027).
    • Modality: Full-time, on-site.
    • Note: Employment is conditional upon the successful completion of a criminal background check and required clearances for handling controlled goods.
