About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in Melbourne, Florida, for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site at our facility. This role requires you to be a U.S. Person.
What you'll do#
- Research, develop, design, and test electrical components, systems, and networks.
- Troubleshoot electrical device problems on the production line to resolve technical issues.
- Create and complete drawing designs.
- Operate engineering software and specialized equipment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on various engineering projects.
- Perform applied research and development for new products to meet functional objectives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Advanced degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related STEM field.
- You must remain enrolled through the completion of the internship.
- Proficiency in MatLab, C, C+, JavaScript, and Excel.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Familiarity with test equipment like Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and Power Meters is preferred.
- Experience with eCAD tools and electronic design or simulation software is preferred.
