About the role#
The Product Engineering team at Moog is looking for an Electrical Engineering intern to support our Military Aircraft Group. You will work directly with product engineers to maintain product integrity and resolve production issues. This role focuses on the design authority for products currently in production.
What you'll do#
- Write and update production assembly and test instructions for operations staff.
- Maintain product quality by performing Material Review Board analyses and evaluating potential notices of escape.
- Use statistical analysis on electrical test data to identify trends.
- Design and troubleshoot assembly fixtures, tools, and test equipment.
- Perform basic programming to track metrics like first pass yield and product cost.
- Facilitate design changes by redlining drawings and starting the Engineering Change Notice process.
- Provide technical guidance to assembly and test personnel.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program for Electrical Engineering at an accredited university.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Ability to relocate for the summer term.
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach to teamwork.
- A desire to learn and a positive attitude.
