About the role#
This is a full-time, paid COOP internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site at our Longueuil facility from January 5 to April 23, 2027. The daily schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 to 15:00.
What you'll do#
- Manage employees in a unionized environment by applying collective agreement rules and assigning daily tasks.
- Act as a resource person for the department to ensure smooth operations.
- Serve as an agent of prevention for occupational health and safety.
- Deploy strategies to reduce non-quality.
- Lead continuous improvement projects related to department productivity and layout.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Canadian university in Engineering, Human Resources, or Operations and Production Management.
- Advanced proficiency in French, both spoken and written.
- Proficiency in basic office software, specifically Excel, Outlook, and One Note.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Ability to work on-site five days per week.
- While the role is in a French-speaking environment, you must have functional English skills to read technical plans, drawings, and specialized instructions.
