About the role#
Join the next generation product engineering group as a Multidisciplinary Mechanical Analyst. You will work within a team of approximately 20 engineers focused on the design and development of new engine technology. Your primary objective is to collaborate on the Hybrid-Electric flight demonstration and contribute to future product improvements. This role encourages the development of practical and systemic thinking through a wide range of theoretical and hands-on tasks.
What you'll do#
- Analyze test data to support engine development.
- Conduct tribology and material testing.
- Perform numerical and failure analysis.
- Solve real engineering problems encountered during the development cycle.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet project objectives.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university throughout the internship.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Ability to work with minimal instructions by following first principles.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of both English and French to read technical documents and communicate with international colleagues.
- Adaptability and motivation to work under project timelines.
- Background or training in structural analysis, fluid dynamics, or durability analysis is considered an asset.
Location & details#
- Location: Longueuil, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 23, 2027).
- Modality: Full-time, on-site, Monday to Friday with flexible hours.
- Requirements: Candidates must pass a background check and obtain necessary authorizations for handling controlled goods.
