About the role#
This 10-week summer internship provides hands-on experience within the Operations department at Raymond James. You will support the firm's financial infrastructure by assisting with transaction processing and account maintenance. This role offers exposure to key areas including account services, cash and asset movement, mutual fund operations, and data reconciliation.
What you'll do#
- Update client account information and ensure data accuracy.
- Analyze operational data to support team objectives.
- Facilitate communication between branch offices and the Home Office.
- Resolve routine inquiries and support internal teams.
- Perform routine and moderately complex tasks under general supervision.
- Uphold regulatory compliance standards.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of an Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date of May 2028 or December 2027.
- General experience of 4 to 6 months.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
Location & details#
- Locations: Saint Petersburg, Florida or Southfield, Michigan.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 2, 2027, to August 13, 2027).
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, up to 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
