About the role#
This is a hands-on internship for those interested in marketplaces, operations, and financial technology. You will support the full lifecycle of event contracts, from initial research and configuration to final resolution. You will work closely with internal teams across Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance to ensure accuracy and operational discipline. This role requires sound judgment and a willingness to escalate uncertainty rather than guess.
What you'll do#
- Research potential contract ideas and turn them into precise, objective binary questions.
- Identify authoritative resolution sources and flag potential ambiguity or policy issues.
- Configure event contracts in the management system and perform pre-launch quality assurance.
- Verify critical details like outcomes, timing, and resolution criteria.
- Coordinate launch information with internal stakeholders and liquidity partners.
- Triage support tickets and monitor live markets for operational issues or unexpected behavior.
- Research and document market outcomes for internal review before executing settlements.
- Maintain trackers, checklists, and internal documentation while identifying ways to improve workflows.
- Participate in a scheduled, lightweight rotation for evening or weekend monitoring.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Associate’s, or Master’s degree.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong written communication skills.
- Ability to research information and distinguish authoritative sources from unreliable ones.
- Comfort with detailed, repeatable, process-driven tasks and time-sensitive work.
- Basic proficiency with spreadsheets and web-based business tools.
- Experience or interest in operations, research, quality assurance, or content management is a plus.
- Familiarity with prediction markets, financial markets, sports, politics, or economics.
- Ability to work in-office and participate in the scheduled monitoring rotation.
